I've realized that one of the reasons why I write here is because I've had lots to say, yet no one to tell. Funny how I can share my thoughts w/ people who I will never meet (well, one of you I have met), yet I cannot talk about most of these things with the people I know personally. -
Dinner @ President Thai
Terry arranged for a few cool people to come out earlier tonight for my birthday. For the past several consecutive years, this particular group of close friends have never missed my birthday events, and I really appreciate their thoughfulness and genuine friendship. Drove to Long Beach to check out the new Mai Tai Bar! Got there around 6:30pm. Ordered an Icy Mai Tai for $4 during happy hour. Most tables were filled. Very beautiful waitresses. Cool place to hang out. Very friendly staff. Not as big as the Ala Moana location in Hawai'i, but still nice. Wish I lived closer to Long Beach so I could visit ( Read more... ) -

Planned a small get-together at D&B in Arcadia for earlier tonight. Surprisingly Eden called and decided to hang out with us. Haven't seen this guy since my birthday party last year. I still can't believe it. Tonight at the Macaroni Grill in Puente Hills, I had one of the best times ever. A few years ago, through the magic of friendster.com, I was able to find someone on that site who I had went to school with from the 3rd - 9th grade. Went to my favorite restaurant, Saladang in Pasadena, with Terry and Mai. They are vacationing in Maui for a little over a week, beginning on Sunday. I am jealous. The waitresses at Saladang -- still fine. The chicken panang and curry chicken fried rice -- still excellent.
