Sooner or later, it all comes down to bouncy, cute, monster shadow thingsi_pwn_the_worldMay 18 2006, 20:32:40 UTC
"Rrrrrr kyeh!" Came a cry from around the corner, behind Tseng. The larger heartless lumbered into view then, rocking back and forth on their thin legs. They bounced, swinging back and forth without rhythm or pattern.
A rock fell down from the building just missing Tseng's shoulder. Upon looking up, one could see that these tall heartless were joined by more fearsome apparitions. Long clawed fingers gripped the tops of the building so tightly they crumbled. Black saliva tinged their dark jaws and they let out rumbling hisses.

Something was weird. The black blobby things were exploding all on their own--...wait, nevermind. That guy in the suit had dispatched of them for her with an infinitely superior weapon to Elena's own little pea-shooter.
She looked up at her would-be savior and gave him a grateful smile before doing a quick double-take. The man who had, ostensibly, saved her life from a black and blobby death was Tseng Wulong.
Fortunately, or unfortunately, Elena was spared any further chance to embarrass herself in front of her older sister's superior when more shadow creatures appeared en masse.
(Honestly. This was just getting...stupid.)
The faint thud of pebbles hitting the ground drew the girl's eyes upward to a truly horrifying sight. Hideous creatures who made their rather chubby counterparts--because it was fairly obvious that they were working together--look positively cute in comparison were stationed on the rooftops, flexing long, sinister-looking talons
( ... )
Heeere he comes to save the day! ....Wait, wrong mouse.themousekingMay 18 2006, 23:33:24 UTC
It was raining. Mickey realized this as soon as he stepped into Traverse Town, blinking with squinted eyes up at the black sky. It wasn't raining in his world, so he wasn't prepared for it. A smile crossed his face when he thought of what Minnie would say. She would certainly scold him for going out with no rain coat, warning him of the perils of getting sick
( ... )
Sipping his scotch at his window, the blue-eyed politician watched as the rain fell. Doing his best to ignore his father's chortles of laughter upstairs, he concentrated on the sounds of the rain from outside.
But while listening to the pitter-patter on his window pane, a much clearer, sharper sound came to him. A gunshot. A few small shots, followed by a more powerful sounding one. Given, none of them sounded like any match for his shotgun, but there were people using guns, at night, unauthorized, in his town. A scowl crossed his face, and his hand clutched the glass almost too tightly.
"What nonsense is this?" he said quietly, making the dog's ears perk up. He was in no mood to don his heavy white overcoat and go see waht was going on, but when morning came, ballistics test would be run and someone'd be meeting his shotgun.
