Every once in a while, you come across something, and you remember that all the little things that can get you down are little things, and then when you look at things broadly enough, it's so clear that it's all just one big beautiful ride.

So, due to a $100 difference in flying jet blue vs. Southwest, I will be taking the latter to MFF. The problem? Southwest doesn't fly into O'Hare, but rather Midway. That's about twice the distance of O'Hare to the overflow hotel ( Read more... )

So, almost done with my first week in school. So far, it's been good, but man, am I going to have a busy semester. The writing demands of grad work are so beyond undergrad studies, but my practice and performance demands (musically) have remained unchanged. So that just means my workload is that much greater.
