I remember all the great concerts I have seen, and though they encompass a broad spectrum of musical traditions, they all had one thing in common. The performer(s) had this incredible presence. What can I say about this con experience. It's actually hard to describe, because the entire event was largely lost in a fog of abject boredom. When you give a man a title, watch how his ego inflates. With a title comes the need to protect it, and see that no other man asserts himself in such a way as to diminish the authority that comes with the title.
