Well, he certainly hasn't lost anything with age.

I'm damn sure I wasn't alone in really wanting to see a Ragnar/Lagertha sandwich with an Athelstan filling last week.

And I'm getting all sorts of filthy mental pictures from those Twink pics. Mmmmmm! You do bring the nicest presents to us!

I love that! I was just mentioning to Temaris last night how much fun the show is, but that it isn't very realistic...

Only I was thinking of stuff such as the Vikings' social structure. Such as the 'Earl' - why no Jarl? - having way too much power and the warriors not telling him to get stuffed or challenging him etc. Things like that. I might have mentioned the threesome scene. But not it's inherent unreality! Ahem.

I'm enjoying the hell out of the show none the less, despite the social commentary.

Yeah, anything to do with 'Earl Haraldson' (naming conventions buggered up too) makes us both grind our teeth. It's not just completely historically inaccurate, it's psychologically inaccurate. It's like a reality show 'How not to rule'. But we really love the scenery porn. (and I like the frisson of Viking/thrall action) and I'm sure fanfic will provide more historically sensitive depictions.

I may provide a few myself. ;)

Yep. that's Travis. Kinda like Channing Tatum. Super-slender when he was a young model but when he stopped being a model, he has the tendency to pack on pounds in between movies.

And yes, he was Tarzan on the WB, I think. And was in cop show The Beast with Patrick Swayze (his last job, if I'm not mistaken).

Channing Tatum has the marked advantage of having a slightly more masculine face. Wait a second...'advantage' is not really the word I want. I don't mean to imply that I disapprove in any way shape or form of men who are pretty and girlish. I APPROVE. INTENSELY.
