Ubuntu is analogous to bisexuality, in that it's an often-neglected third option which offers greater possibilities than either of its two more popular counterparts.

Discuss.

Ubuntu is analogous to faux lesbiana, in that is is adopted by people trying to look cool who actually don't have the faintest idea what they're doing or how anything works.

OK, it's probably not that bad, it's just unfortunate that pretty much 90% of developer people who have problems with the relatively basic task of logging on to the servers at work using SSH keys are Ubuntu users.

Ow, that's a bit too close to home. Not that you intended to be mean, but it does pretty much describe me. At least I'm good at having sex with women!

OT, but did you hear back abour venue hire/dates yet?

Sorry, I guess I'm feeling a bit "grr, I was into _____ before it got cool!" and a lot annoyed with anything work-related at the moment.

Still waiting to hear about venues. Will chase up on Monday.

I have 0 knowledge of Ubuntu, but I like this anyway. And have forwarded to S, for their amusement, so they may drop by (bi?) :D

Define greater possibilities?

The analogy amuses me as an Ubuntu user :oP
