To be fair, the Obama campaign is denying the report. It's just one of those really confusing denials because it has something to do with two different agreements with really similar sounding names. It'll take a couple of days to see how it shakes out.
Thanks for linking that. However... copied from the article you linked... ~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Obama's national security spokeswoman Wendy Morigi said Taheri's article bore "as much resemblance to the truth as a McCain campaign commercial."
In fact, Obama had told the Iraqis that they should not rush through a "Strategic Framework Agreement" governing the future of US forces until after President George W. Bush leaves office, she said." ~~~~~~~~~~~~
Now... is it just me, or did she basically just say EXACTLY what the first article accused him of?
..."No... he didn't ask them to delay the leaving of the troops until a new administration takes over. He just asked them not to rush in to anything until Bush leaves office."
don't have sources at the moment, too busy. from what I heard, even Republicans who were on the scene are saying the Obama camp is right and the NY Post was wrong.

Sounds pretty much alike to me.
