My Grandpa died about 5 or 6 hours ago. He was an amazing man. And I can't go to the funeral because I'm so sick myself right now I can barely even walk, much less travel to California.

Life isn't fair.

Global warming my ass!  Al Gore needs to be flung into outer space!

Someone please tell me where the earth is heating up so fast so I can move there!  I have a really hard time buying into all the global warming hype when it's 39 degrees in Southern Texas!

As a lot of you already know, I've just spent a week in the hospital.  This is the first time I've ever had to be hospitalized, so it was an "experience".

1- Hospital food truly does suck.

2- Hospital beds are not the most uncomfortable things in the world, but they're pretty damn close.

I voted today.  I got there about an hour after they opened the polls at my city hall, and the guy monitoring the line said those of us there at 1-ish picked the right time.  There were about 250 people waiting in line when they opened.   And a lot of them were old.  Go figure :P ( Read more... )
