There's no real significance to 1933. I had previously done my Top Ten Favorite movies from the 1920's and I wanted to do the 1930s. I couldn't choose just ten so I decided to go by year but I hadn't seen ten movies from 1930, 1931, or 1932 so I started with 1933.

Professional Sweetheart, Rafter Romance and Dancing Lady are three films I haven't seen, but they all sound like fun.

Fred and Ginger were the ONLY good part of "Flying Down to Rio". I couldn't stand the rest of that film.

A lot of these are hard to find. Am I going to just have to wait for TCM to air them?

I agree. Without Fred and Ginger, that film would be pretty awful.

Some of them you'll just have to wait for TCM to air. I'm not sure how many of them are available on DVD.

awesome list, and yeah, the first little women is the best, if for no other reason than its the closest to the book, and yes, Hepburn was Jo March.
