Reinstalled Flight Simulator X and the expansion. Upon first start up, the game defaulted to Ultra for graphic settings. Cool. Poke around other settings then start up Free Flight. So I "The Angels Take Manhattan" was really bad. So bad that it might be the last Doctor Who episode I watch. That's partially a lie but I'm not going out of my way to watch the rest of this season. Holy crap! I started up Skyrim and after going through the "first time setup" and all that junk (yay fresh install of Windurs), the game defaulted to Ultra graphics setting. Upon further inspection, EVERYTHING is as high a setting as it'll go. What a difference this processor makes!

I bought a bicycle today. It's a used '03 Trek 4500. It looks a bit warn but I looked it over and test rode it. It looked good overall. The guy told me the chain should be replaced so he knocked off $25. Then I talked him down another $25 so I payed a total of $150. With a little work it should be a decent bike ( Read more... )

Alright. I'm looking to get another monitor for my computer. I'm really unsure what to get. I'm looking for something for gaming, around 23" to 27" range. I thought about trying a 120hz but that adds about $100 to the price. Anyone have any suggestions?
