WHAT!? Are you serious!? Drop $3000 off the price!?

It seems to me that these people who put ads up on craigslist for apartments for rent, don't actually want to rent out the place. Three days ago I sent out 6 or so emails and called one guy. Time to start looking for apartments again.

It's very discouraging when dozens of emails to various "apartments available" and "rooms for rent" turn up only two replies. One of which was already taken when I called.

Motorcycle is up on craigslist. I know it'll take a while to sell but, damn, it still aches a bit to put it up. Next will be to put it up on other auto sale sites.

I wish I wasn't sick and full of meds so I can have a beer..

Unless I can come up with $7000 in the next 6 months to pay off the motorcycle loan, or maybe half of that, I'm going to have to sell the bike. As it stand, the bike will have to go...

At my job, driving a bus to and from the shop for repair is considered "Non-Driving Time" according to pay-role. I get paid almost $2 less an hour for that. But taking a bus to get washed is "Drive Time". My job makes a whole lot of sense ( Read more... )

October 6, I bought a new car.

Photos here.It's a 2010 Honda Fit. Bought it at a really good deal. It had a salvage title due to a rear end collision. I looked it over with a mechanic and it's structurally sound. There are no problems with the car other than the radio antenna mast being bent. Not that I plan on using the radio much anyway. ( Read more... )
