It still strikes me as a surprise when people at checkouts start a conversation with me; must be the Londoner in me -- am more used to this cosmopolitan, head-down, no acknowledgement business that everyone in London seems to adopt when walking the streets/sitting in tubes etc. Having said that I sometimes make a point of watching the people on the ( Read more... )

I love Cambridge when it's sunny and warm... Took scenic route back from the UL and wandered through Clare; watched people trying to punt, no one fell in for my amusement - how selfish of them.
