And thank you so much for the book! I've been looking over it and it's really interesting. And no, I'm not heartbroken about the leprechaun, though I *am* curious as to why the bee was on the box with the Cheerios and the, um, what exactly was that supposed to be? was on the box with the Honey Comb...

I thought you'd like that book. I've always been fascinated by mythical creatures. And I find it interesting that pretty much every culture, every race, has their mythical beings. Some to blame for mishaps and problems, others to bring good fortune and luck.
The bee is on the Cheerios because those Cheerios are called "Honey nut Cheerios" and bees make honey. As for the creature on the Honey Comb cereal, you know, I'm not quite sure what that is either to be honest! I think it's a mythical creature invented entirely by Madison Avenue executives, just to make folks buy cereal!

And that's just silly! Mythical creatures don't make honeycombs. Shouldn't they have a mascot that has more to do with the actual product?

I don't understand that creature on the Honeycomb box either. I mean, at least the bee on the Honey Nut Cheerios makes some sense!
