I also have opinions of vegans that are not politically correct. But I suspect my opinion of most people / things is not politically correct. It's a good thing there aren't any Thought Police.

I like your new USER PIC OMG. Phil liked your last one because the girl was making a rude gesture, like, "Ha ha, my fingers are still intact, you bastard French frogs".

politically incorrect opinions are usually the best kind.
rude gestures are also key, although historically it would be directed at the english. but i dislike the french more, so bastard frogs it is!

Phil insists that the British used that hand gesture to taunt the French, because the French rather enjoyed threatening to cut off the two first fingers of British longbowmen, during the Hundred Years War.

I don't actually know anything about history, but Phil is quite the little expert on war trivia. (Seriously. It's scary.)

ah see i had heard the exact same story but only the roles of french and british were reversed! i was told my version by a psych prof, but i will take phil's word for it because as you said he is an expert on the war trivia.
moral of the story-- if you're missing your first two fingers you can't fire arrows and you can't taunt anyone, regardless of nationality :(
