dream journal: 04/23/06

last night i dreamed i was a heroin addict! i was trying to quit, and my dealer (christopher walken) was giving me advice and saying he'd help, but he was also still selling me heroin. i talked to cody, and he had some helpful advice: roll a three-sided die and then shoot up however much heroin came up on the die (i assume in grams? dunno.)

Actually a three sided die (1d3) is common in D&D although it doesn't physically exist. The rules call for it all the time, i.e. if you attempt to stab a dragon with a dagger and succeed then you roll 1d3 for damage. We always took a six sided die (1d6), divided the result by two and rounded up. Does Cody play D&D?
