As of yesterday there are only 30 days left of my Child and Adolescent Psych Fellowship! Then it's off to the real world!

Life has been crazy and hectic as of late. I had the wonderous opportunity last weekend to watch one of my college friends graduate medical school. It was amazing. She and I have had very similar life paths with many extra challenges and hardships thrown in with the usual rigors of medical school and its incredible to consider now that both of us ( Read more... )

Tonight hubby and I signed the contract enlisting the real estate agent to sell our current townhome. Its hard to believe all of the changes that will be happening in the next few months: moving, new job and new house. Tomorrow the sign goes up and the lockbox goes on the house and then the race to keep the house as neat as possible goes on. ( Read more... )

Its not often I follow the trials and tribulations of stars but I have followed Dana and Christopher Reeve’s journey quite a bit. I was saddened when everybody’s Superman died and I was saddened today to hear of Dana Reeve’s death and I know I work with kids when the first thing I think about is what happens to their 13 year old son. Well.. for better or for worse its done. I walked out of my exam not knowing if I should laugh in celebration or cry. It was hard. It was very hard… The second half was harder than the first .
