It's not easy being green. Until about a year ago, that is. With the Celtics and Lakers about to tussle for the NBA title, I feel like revisiting my youth. See, most of you know that I'm as insanely die-hard a Sabres fan as one can be.

But they weren't the first sports team I cared about.

The Boston Celtics were.

What an impressive and insightful view into the makings of your geekery. And here I thought I knew just how much of a geek you were, but alas, I only knew the half of it. That is an impressive level of geekdom. Though I do have to quabble with you on one note, that your geekiness has merely an 18 year run, when truly, it has been a 29 year endeavour...

No, the sports geekery really took hold at the end of 1990, when the Bills were in the middle of the first Super Bowl run. Granted, I did watch the Celts and Bills before, but my transformation into the Human Billboard (or Stat Boy, if you prefer) really began after that Super Bowl.
