Sis took me to the almost CT scan (it didn't happen 'cuz I read the directions on the barium drink wrong & had to reschedule, but it all worked out anyway). At any rate, I was talking about feeling disconnected from reality, and she asked when it started. Well, we figured out it started after I started taking the Marinol, so I've stopped taking

But wouldn't stopping the Marinol bring back some of the other bad symptoms, like nausea, etc.? Or am I thinking of something else?

When's the CT scan rescheduled for so I can cross all my appendages again (thank you for getting the reference!)?

I was taking the Marinol for my mood swings, but I think they were just food related; I really need to eat something every 2 hrs while I'm on the steroid or it messes with my chemistry :-(

No nausea or headaches (well, if I do too much during the day without resting, sometimes I get a headache, but I think it's mostly been the 100 degree heat we've been having)

The main symptoms I have from the brain tumours are the eyesight problem, short term memory problems, a time obession from something pressing on my temporal lobe, and dizziness when I get up after sitting or laying down for a while.

Could be worse....

then I remembered that we talked briefly Thursday night and you said you were going to post about it. Glad you're feeling better without the Marinol.

Still looking for a support group, but I talked to someone local who gave me a couple of suggestions yesterday, so I'm fairly optimistic.

There's also a very local cancer foundation that needs voluteers for envelope stuffing & stuff, which would be a way for me to get out & feel productive during the week, so I'm going to check into that after Labor Day.
