Besides the fact that I got sick again (second time in less than a month, have a nasty cough/throat irritation that isn't going away), I came to the realization that my bowling career will have to be put on hold for the time being

Sorry to hear about the injury, Kijani. I'm not in any way a regular bowler myself, although it is a lot of fun for me when I do get to go, and I've been getting interested in it just these past couple years (mainly furry bowling). It's hard to stop something you love doing and then try to find something else satisfying to fill the void. BTW, I went to a furbowl two days ago and bowled the worst I have in a long time.

And, I am also sick right now, was going downhill yesterday and I stayed home from work today. Sounds sort of like the same thing you've got... with me, more in my chest. Wishing a speedy, complete recovery for both of us!
