Duct tape dummy completed
Late this afternoon (February 21, 2016) I finally completed my duct tape dummy (DTD), or duct tape mannequin, as I rather prefer to call it, since I don't like using the word "dummy". Return to LiveJournal, arm injury log, and snowstorm today
I kind of just faded away from LiveJournal a couple of years ago. Most of my entries were con reports that took a lot of work to do, and I just ran out of time. But, I need a place to journal in, write about thoughts and feelings, and I think this is a great place to do it, so I plan to start writing regularly in here again. Hey, I'm at the FurTheMore convention this weekend!! Having a great time, really nice small con, seems to be well run. Met some really cool fursuiters, had a blast on the dance floor last night. Well, gotta keep moving here, will of course be posting a report of this good con with pics as usual in the next week or two. -
Saw a comet!
Yes, success! Finally. LeoSTARR saw comet PanSTARRS tonight at 8:10pm EDT. Used a pair of 7x50 binoculars, had to wait for the sky to darken enough to spot it. Was on the roof to get a decent view of the western horizon. It has a nice little very discernible tail pointing upwards. Haven't seen a comet in a long time! -

Got up on Sunday morning at something like 8:35-8:40am. Slept well, albeit only 6 hours instead of my ideal 8, but 6 is typical for me for a con.
