Jiji managed to squirm out of Kiki's grasp, and shook himself briskly - perhaps as much to shake off the self-image of a drowned rat as the water itself - before happily nuzzling Wilson's hand in greeting.
Kiki could feel the rain water dripping through along her scalp as she dropped her hand to allow Wilson to take a closer look. She gave a shaky chuckle. "I guess I got the right house after all," she observed stupidly, relief making her giggle. She straightened her face, focusing on Wilson's questions. "Really, I think it's just that one cut - it only stings a little."
A guilty look came over her face as another clap of thunder made her recall the shattered window.
Jiji, in the meantime and knowing that Kiki was in good hands, scampered over to greet Aziraphale, twining around his ankles and covering the cuffs with damp kitty fur.
Aziraphale absently picked Jiji up in his arms, still a little in shock over the scene in front of him. Kiki, except not the same Kiki, crashed amidst the debris of a broken window in the middle of the guest bedroom.
Only in Tropolis.
"Good Heavens, my dear! Let James look at your injury. And don't worry a bit about the window," he added, noting her guilty expression. With a wave of his hand, the window was good as new, and the broken glass scattering the floor vanished.
"I'll get some dry towels and...do you have a change of clothes?"
"Yes, I do," Kiki answered automatically, holding very still so Wilson could inspect the cut. Then - "You know, this isn't exactly how I imagined seeing you both again." She wiped her stained hands on her sodden skirt. "I haven't even been able to hug you both properly!"

"Kiki, what in the world?"
Going down on one knee, he reached carefully for her head, to inspect the trickle of blood.
"What are you doing out in weather like this? And why..." He cut himself off and reached to pet Jiji.
"Hello, Jiji. Okay, first things first, where do you hurt, Kiki?"
