Kiki was feeling highly pleased. All-in-all, the past month had really been quite a good one, if a bit chaotic at times, but even that carried with it some degree of predictability when one lived in a city as unusual as Tropolis.

Somewhere in Heaven, while working out the details of what he considered to be a particularly fine bit of PR on the part of Above, the Voice of God felt a cold chill run down his back. Except that he didn't have a back. And, being essentially non-corporeal, he also shouldn't have been able to feel the sensation of cold.

This disturbed Metatron, but as he had no idea what to do about it, he finally shrugged it off and got back to work.
