Last night Jackie and I went to see Shakespeare in the Park. It's Louisville's 45th year of having free Shakespeare performances in little Central Park in Old Louisville. Somebody actually showed MacBeth? Did they call it something else as is tradition or did they actually risk the curse and outright call it MacBeth? Oooh. My HS Stage Crew Teacher would have had kittens if he had to make a set for the cursed play.

I know, you're supposed to say "The Scottish Play." But truthfully, the lead actor playing Macbeth was black and they were playing lots of global infusion music and wearing togas so to call it the Scottish play would have been misleading. The set was awesome though, your teacher might not have known that's what he was building!

I have recently come to the conclusion that the outdoors hold nothing for me. Air conditioning is my life!
