It's New Year's Eve. This time last year I was on the east coast, in an apartment by the bay with a group of performers. The boys played poker while I sat on the couch cuddling the dog. this morning has been pretty.
I opened all the doors & windows in the house
so the breeze can wander through.
I pulled my hair back,
slipped into a flowery summer dress
& have been listening to my favourite compilation cds.
eating milk-chocolate-coated-strawberries
& dark-chocolate-coated-raspberries,
& making plans with circus friends.
