So I have a job at the Philadelphia Zoo now, giving live animal presentations and teaching classes on conservation. It pays next to nothing, but it's really fun and I really like the people I'm working with and so I'm not even bothering to look for anything else to do with my time for the remainder of this school year. President Bush is in town today and was doing his thing about two miles from Alex's house. A lot of the streets were blocked off and there was a large cohort gathered on Montgomery Avenue near the train station protesting the war in Iraq (as though these complaints aren't TOTALLY cliche by now). Update: Helping out at VBS led to a job via someone from the church. W00t! I will be helping to teach a kindergarten class, for $9.75 an hour, 35 hours a week, NO WEEKENDS and NO HOLIDAYS. Sweet.

No permanent teaching position yet, but I'm still working at it and am still optimistic. :)

Aaaaahhh. I've been home for almost 4 weeks now, and it's been so, so nice. I didn't realize how much I missed my family until I came back here. Okay, so...I'mm graduating in two days, and the festivities begin tomorrow. Bryn Mawr doesn't believe in quick graduations--it's a two day EVENT.
