Reason number 52 why you should read America the Book:

It mentions tea bagging.

And I'm not going to say where or why.

Well... I suppose if you were to, say... visit next week or the week after then we might let you take a little peek at it.

even if it is the closest to the truth! reason #165 to read america the book

''If the president is the head of the American body politic, Congress is its gastrointestinal tract.''

hi! i just thought i would take the time off from studying for my physiology test (coincidentally about the gastrointestinal tract exchange along with the circulatory system) and see how you are doing. I'm really new to this whole live journal thingie but i guess i'm in a "CO2 + H2O <> H2CO3 facilitated by Carbonic Anhydrase (CA) in Red Blood Cell type mood" right now...well at least until my head implodes. I do wish i could be playing with metal and big vats of acid wearing protective clothing and masks...but wearing an old shirt from the thrift store staring at a book has to do for now. I guess i will talk to you later!

Hee hee. "CO2 + H20 <> H2C03 facilitated by Carbonic Anhydrase (CA) in Red Blood Cell" type-mood sounds... interesting. That makes my brain hurt. It was nice talking to you last night! I can't wait till we can talk for more than twenty minutes at a time: I need a good three hours with my vern.

Good luck with all that physiological-hooey-hahey-science stuff. I'll stick with Hegemons. Hegemony, shibboleths and regimes for everyone!

I love that book, wait until you get to the end... that's the best part. He has some great stuff about Kerry and Bush.

Sweet. Thanks for the heads up. I take it you have managed to get through all of the hurricanes then? I'm glad you're okay.
