Tonight as I was walking home a woman nearly hit me in the crosswalk at Orchard and Wrightwood. She must not have been paying attention, because as I jumped out of the way and turned around to scowl at her she realized what she had done and slammed on the brakes. I sent my JET application overnight by FedEx this morning... It should arrive in Washington, D.C. by 10:30 AM tomorrow, just making the deadline. I checked and double-checked everything in the envelope before I sent it off, so hopefully I'm not missing anything I'll get an interview in a couple of months.
