Yeah, I was like that was fun! But wait, did anything actually happen? The episode felt kind of like a giant prologue where the real plot never quite came. But then again, it was a non-dramatic villain that didn't provide undue distraction from the choice of Amy and Rory staying in one place.
2) BRIAN COX. I have such a ridiculous crush on him.
3) Idk. Maybe the point is that she never puts down roots at any job. She's a freelance writer, a model, a girl who gets jobs for party entertainment. You can walk away from any of those things at any time with, if you're considerate, nothing more than a quick phone call. Even Rory hasn't been working full time.
5) Eleven is a giant liar, basically. Um, we KNOW he's always been constantly running away from EVERYTHING.
So Amy is a kissogram, perfumer, model, travel writer ... I kind of wish it would stay consistent. I still can't figure her out. Nothing she does says anything about her.
I kind of disagree. I think it's showing that Amy (and Rory since he was only working part-time until this episode) are putting their lives on hold because they're always excepting the Doctor to drop in. A large part of the episode was them trying to figure out if it's time for them to stop traveling with the Doctor.
I love Rory's dad and Eleven trying to be patient. Kay Stewart was awesome and I'm glad that the show is getting away from UNIT's depicting during RTD's run. I also loved the conversation between the Doctor and Amy, and his conversation with Rory's Dad.
9) So nobody's noticed this creepy kid sitting in the ER for days or weeks or months or whatever.
The Doctor notices her though ... and from Utopia/Sound of Drums/Last of the Time Lords we know that Time Lords aren't immune to them (bc the Master couldn't see Ten, Martha and Jack)

Or Amy opening the lab door to find the cube playing The Birdie Song.

2. YES BRIAN COX. I decided that I liked this episode the moment he appeared.
3. Yeah, I guess she's trying different things out? She can't really settle?
4. She was cool, and it was a nice tribute I thought.
5. He runs away, but he runs to places too. Same with the Ponds. Well, it made sense to me.
It was a fun episode. :D
