Two months under my belt. How are things going? Well, I'm on call this weekend which basically means answering pages from patients that can be quite unpleasant but I don't actually have to go in or do anything except occasionally call in medications. Seriously... our toilet is busted and threw up all over our apartment (which only has ONE bathroom). They say we need a new toilet but we have been without for 24 hours now. We have had to pee in a bucket. Plus, the carpet guy came and sucked up all the water and made it smell like lemons and left a super-high powered fan that has to run non- ( Read more... )

I guess I should post about it. I have been working for one week already. It's quite exhausting. Not the work so much as the drive to and from. I don't know that I'll ever get used to this Miami (or any big city for that matter) traffic. We'll eventually move, but our lease isn't up until the END of August ( Read more... )

So, I didn't get that Ortho job I interviewed for that I felt so great about. I had an interview with a Gastroenterologist Thursday which didn't seem terrible, but the job is kind of a hike from the old homestead and it would be mostly hospital work which I'm not thrilled about, but I'm just sort of waiting to here ( Read more... )

My boyfriend is going to be here THURSDAY!!!! So excited I can't focus on anything. Which is a bummer because I'm supposed to be working on my scholarly project. Also, I've been achy, achy all day yesterday and I'm not really anxious to start that again today.
