Oh, I've got a great deal of respect for surgeons, too, except for the whole "the rules don't apply" thing, and the assumption that among the 140, they're the very first priority, and the tendency to announce that the $200 a patient isn't worth their time, and that we'll pay them $1000 per patient...
I'm actually facing cardiac surgery, someday, to fix a VSD, so perhaps I shouldn't be interacting with so many of them...
As for the people who come in after one day or a runny nose -- can you get extra long syringes?

By the way, I'm working on a study with 140 cardiac surgeons, so I know it's just as well that you didn't become a surgeon. *g*

. . . maybe some of the people who've had a cold for one day and haven't tried anything over-the-counter.
I have respect for most surgeons. Their willingness to work extremely long, hard hours and the deftness of hands required is beyond me.
chuckling
It takes everything I have just to do simple suturing in the office.
Plus the gloves never fit me correctly. The fingers are always too long.
