Wow! Jeans are pretty bad any kind of work where you have to get up and down alot. Take-down should be fun though, I can picture the tent making a big whoosh! noise coming down.

Its sad Amanda, because I won't be here for tear-down. I'm moving to New York on the 23rd. I wish I could be there to climb the tent (I think all temp workers get to if you stayed with Cirque for the whole engagment) before the tent is pulled down. Dude, I can't believe I wore jeans. That's probably the worst thing I could have done.

I hope I didn't ruin your VIP experince. The Tapis Rouge is amazing. lol..I hope I'm going to be working the merchendise section of the Tapis Rouge sometime, just so I can jam to the kickin' music they have blaring. Are you excited to see Varekai?

What a recap! I loved reading about your first day, and I'm sure you'll have plenty more interesting stories to tell by the time this job is over. Can't wait to hear about all of them.

Good point about the disillusionment. However, I guess it says something about all the hard work that goes into it -- the whole thing is so seamless that no one even thinks about its setup.

Keep up the good work, Kim! :)
