Some of these names are no surprise, others... :-(

You know, I never would have voted for McCain, but I *used* to have some respect for him as a person of principle. That pretty much evaporated when he signed off on Bush's torture policy. But his campaign has taken sleeze to new depths that I didn't think were possible after Bush and the Swiftboaters. *struggling not to give up on democracy, as still can't think of anything better*

man, I don't get the 'elitist' thing. But then again, it probably comes from the same place where it's totally not a problem to call him 'articulate and clean.' which I also don't get.

Neither of these arguments are OK! They're not OK for vastly different reasons, but Jeebus! Not OK.
