Hello out there! I hope you all are enjoying the long weekend (for those of you who get it), and making the most of this time away from work/before school starts/last days of freedom, etc etc.
So yesterday I went out to my parents' cabin, and had a grand time. A time that has resulted in horrible pain, mind you, but still it was great while it

And just so you know, I just went to ITunes and bought a bunch of Imogen Heap songs and that's entirely your fault. I love "The Moment I Said It". I have to say though that I wished I could get the live version of "Just For Now" from this video somewhere because I like it so much better than the album version.

You are very welcome for the gift that is Imogen Heap. She's amazing, isn't she? And yeah, that live version of JFN is awesome. Awesome. She's such a creative being, the way she uses her voice, and overlaps and loops things AS she's performing. A-ma-zing, I tell you. "The Moment I Said It" is grand too. Another song I just heard this weekend, and fell in love with was "Angry Angel". It's more of a rock-out song. Also, Frou Frou (which was her band)'s version of "Holding Out for a Hero". Good stuff!

Taking it easy is probably a good idea when you're in so much pain. I really hope you'll be better soon but seeing as you've already consulted the coolest of all doctors I'm not to worried. ;0)
"The Moment I Said It" probably was the first Imogen Heap song I ever heard and a half-naked Danny Tidwell dancing to it made it so much more awesome when it already is. *giggles and fangirls Danny*
Btw, in the meantime I've figured out a way to rip the audio from Just For Now video. So, if you want the song I could send it to you. Just let me know. *hugs*

Emily = &hearts and beauty. 'Nuff said.
Danny Tidwell? I've no idea, but if he was half naked, and dancing around to Imogen, then that's enough for me! LOL.
Ooh, you found a way to rip the audio? Really? Ooh yes, may I please have a copy? I was just playing it in the background as I did other things, and I swear you'd have no idea she was alone with a keyboard and other mechanical gear, doing it all at that very moment. It totally sounds like she's in a studio, with stuff already pre-mixed and backup singers and the like. Amazing.

At least the rest of it was fun, right? And your bunnies must have had a nice time.

Those songs are cool. I specially like Regina's (nothing fin-ah! J/K)song. I've heard it before. Maybe from Grey's?
And while you are reading, I have a place that we must, must, must go to one day. It's a martini bar in Osborne Village, and it's great! They've got dozens of yummy martinis there. G Martini's. You know, for when we feel like being grownups.
P.S. Count me in for the TFR, as usual. :o)

Regina's (and it's actually Re-gina, and not Reg-eye-nah, like Cheri joked about that lovely little Canuck town!) songs are awesomeness. She's so freaking talented, and the same as us (which still blows my mind!). I'm sure her stuff has been on something, too, as Samson seemed really recognizable. Maybe Grey's. Lots of stuff has been on Grey's.
Grownups? Really? Do we have to? Awww.... Kidding. Yeah, that sounds good. But remember, you have to remind me NOT to drink it like Kool-Aid, okay? Because last time I drank (at your place) I felt really dizzy and unwell. :(
