It's not me...
Four two years I've been wondering if I was the reason my students kept failing dismally on the provincial standards exam. It would keep me awake a night with worry if there was something I was missing. I walked the thin line between feeling guilty to have failed them, and resenting them for making me look bad.

I think I've got a bit of the January blahs. It's too cold outside, and I'm tired of freezing my A off everytime I step outdoors! I feel for the people who have to wait for buses and/or walk to work. On Wednesday, we had a staff meeting after school. During the meeting, two of my co-workers left early because they had appointments to get to. After two wonderful weeks off, Monday marked the official first work day of 2008. And, if the last few days are setting the tone for the rest of the year, I might just need to invest in an expensive pair of running shoes.

I think I need to buy a new TV. Because mine stopped responding to that new universal remote that I bought in the States last week, and to its original remote, too. And I'm too damn lazy to get off my ass and change the channel by hand. It's 1:42 am. I'm tired. My voice sounds like someone's strangling a cat, and my feet are pretty sore and puffy. But it's 2008, and I just came home from a dear friend's long-awaited wedding. It was a great party. :o)
