Read a poem that reminded me of Sansa today called Reading the Brothers Grimm to Jenny by Lisel Mueller. It struck such a strong cord due to the easy visual translation of Grimm to Grrm. The poem's about childhood innocence, the balance between perserving that innocence and preparing the child for the harsh conditions of life. I love that line ( Read more... ) -
Sansan: The Problem I Want To Have
I picked up another work of poetry this weekend. I read a lot of poetry these days, that's why so much of my Sansan notes are from poems.

I had a talk recently with Brandon about what am I reading and it made me realize all I read these days are newspapers and poems. He wanted scifi/fantasy recommendations, I gave him a list of my favorites, but they were all novels I had read as a teenager. Girloficeandfire mentioned awhile ago how she wanted to collect people's thoughts on Sansan and place it in an archive. I think that would be a good use of my LJ account. Ramblings about my fanfic and a poem
I think the next chapter of Running with Hare and Hunting will be the closer. But I'm having so many problems writing it. I've been thinking about it all day at work for the last 2 weeks or so but have made little progress in putting my thoughts down on paper.
