Here is a portrait of Sophy Gray, age 13, as painted by her brother-in-law the Pre-Raphaelite artist John Everett Millais. This portrait reminds me of Sansa, though I'm trying to pinpoint why. LJ Sansan comms posted a great summary of all the times Sansa thought of Sandor. I'd be quite surprised if they never meet up again in canon given the foreshadowing GRRM has prepared. I read this poem today by Robert Duncan'and it made me reflect on Sansa's unconscious yearning for Sandor while hiding out in the Vale. Oh, it just gave me melty ( Read more... )

This poem by Rumi, Four Quatrains, reminds me of the rambling, obsessive thoughts a drunken Sandor might have had as he walked the Red Keep at night, stalking Sansa.
