I know, two posts in a morning, but right now I am royally PO'd at one of the librarians who's being a prima donna and therefore I don't feel like doing anything productive and I want to post. So nyah.

I was thinking of taking that accent quizlet people are passing about, but really, my accent and voice in general defies categorization. I have a ( Read more... )

I love your voice! Do you know, I called your phone once just to hear it when I was missing you, even though I knew you wouldn't be able to pick up? :-D

Sorry you are being annoyed by Miss PD. Every library administrator who has to deal with such people should be allowed a daily nyah just to be able to cope.

*hugs*

Awwww...now you're making me all sniffly-poo. ((((hugs you))))

Actually, I should have said "Primo Don", because it was a guy. However, I relented and mollified the situation, because after some reflection I realized that I did come off a tad obnoxious. I can be a little too direct sometimes.
(((hugs you more))))

Squawk away, honey, lol! At least you don't sound like a smurf. Graham wanted to hear my voice a while ago, so he did a voice post so I could hear his voice. There was this beautifully cultured British gentleman accent and I got to respond with my 14 year old New York cheerleader's wretched squeaking.

He told me I sounded like Monica on Friends. Please...kill me now! But then again he told Bella she sounded like Janice, so it could have been worse. *heh*

I sound like a wretched combination of both parts of my heritage- screaming Jewish mother and screaming Italian mother, both with bad head colds.
Who's Graham? I take it he's not a talking cracker.
And if it's any comfort, I never watched Friends so I have no idea what any of them sounded like. I'm sure I'd like your voice just fine. (((hugs))))

LOL,oh sorry. Graham is my dear friend. He's Arhui here and Laiquendi at the boards. Monica on Friends has an annoying voice, but Janice has an exaggerated whiny Brooklyn accent almost as bad as Fran Drescher.

I am still waiting for the doctor to call. I called them a while ago and the NP had my folder in her office but had a patient in with her so she couldn't come to the phone. I will email when I hear something.

I've always thought that my voice sounded rather monotonous and flat-pitched. And don't even think of asking me to sing! *blech!*

You and I, we could learn sign language and talk about people right in front of them and they'd never know! *giggles*

Aw, I have heard your voice and it's not monotonous and flat-pitched- that would sound like the acting voices of the 1940's, LOL.
I wonder how one giggles in sign language? My laugh is probably pretty annoying too, come to think of it...

Our voices do sound different to ourselves than other people. I love your voice. It's full of warmth and love.

*smooches!*
