Happy new year 2011! I figure I better quickly finish my last post on my Taipei trip ... but it's been a while and I kinda forgot! Oh noes!
It's our last day at Taipei! sob sob!
We bought breakfast from the same shop at day 2, rice roll with pickles and pig floss is so yummy!
We check out at 12 pm and head for Taipei Main station. Before that, we went to animate for some shopping.
Guess what I bought?
Nothing! Hahaha, guess I have grown up since my Japan trip when I impulsively bought too many anime things and end up collecting dust |||oTL feel a hint of regret not to buy hetalia passport holder, argh...
walking around ximendeng area and share a bowl of spicy noodles with dear boyfriend.
We went to Taipei main station and TOTALLY GOT LOST THERE. Even my ever so patient boyfriend got a bit angry cause of our heavy luggages and all the walking in vain >_< (black face black face)
We assume we need to buy tickets at Taipei Bus Station for transport to airport at the photos above BUT IT'S TOTALLY WRONG, these counters only sells tickets to other places. (>_<) We end up horribly lost and walk around in circles.
We try our best to walk outside from the underground to the open air and saw this impressive exterior view of Taipei Main station building.
Counters selling train tickets? Luckily we found a information counters whose staff look incredibly bored. Yipe must have meet with tourist asking the same questions over and over again. There even have a map printed out for our easy viewing. Supposed to go to a certain bus interchange , two streets away.
The bus interchange is diagonally across from this impressive building, remind me of Takashimaya. Again we try to look for lockers but can't really find them >_< (in a bad mood). While walking to the bus interchange, we saw a couple of enthusiastic taxi drivers shouting for trips to airport etc etc. Wooow.
our original plan is to visit Toy Storyland but they have this halloween event! My boyfriend and I are not fans of horror and fright so we decide to skip. Awww, I always like old, retro type of exhibition so I was quite sad!
In the end we sit and rest at a doughnut shop =p so many pretty designs! We also had a difficult time looking for lockers, le sign. Luckily in the end managed to find some.
in the end we spend the whole afternoon wandering in the underground malls. =D
Finally it is time for us to board the bus to airport
There are still some time before our barding time, so we had dinner
the noodles is very bleh compare to the delicious food throughout the trip =p I can't believe this is my first bubble tea in Taiwan! Totally failz oTL
and so this ends our trip to Taiwan!
by the way we bought this box of chocolate with our left over money at around S$15 dollars, I think? Guess how much they sell onboard of Jetstar \(O_O)/
