i'm home now

or at least back in oconomowoc. i have yet to go to my daddio's house ...well, i did just get home yesterday morning.

i'm happy to be home (kind of)- i already miss camp lots

my feet smell bad, are full of dirt, and i have long toenails. thank God i'm getting a pedi tomorrow with rachel!!

sandy hill is overstaffed for week 9 (aug 13-18) so i volunteered to go home early. that means i'll fly back home august 12th instead of august 20th.

i have 11 year old campers. they rock. this morning we won flagpole spirit by dressing up hardcore for the beach theme. we all wore our suits (my co-counselors and I wore them over our clothes), lays (the hawaiin flower thingy i don't know how to spell), sunglasses, towels, and put gobs of suncreen on our noses. it was awesome ( Read more... )

the kids finally come today at camp! it's 3:40 right now, and "official" registration begins at 4...but people are already here and we opened the gate at 3:30. ooo i'm excited! this should be a really fun summer!

i leave for camp tomorrow! i'm really nervous but still excited. it's sad that i had to say goodbye after only two weeks of being home. i'll miss you guys very much. i think the hardest thing about leaving right now is just the timing with my mom- she just got an apartment in oconomowoc, and now i wont' be able to help her move in and set up ( Read more... )

saying goodbye to college friends is hard- a lot harder than i thought it would be. it was especially hard saying goodbye to my friend julie because she's not coming back to lax next year. i totally consider her one of my best friends and it sucks because we'll never just get to hang out whenever we want ever again. yup i cried ( Read more... )
