how do you post pictures?

when you want to post a picture you have to save it as a .jpg file then go to www.imageshack.us or www.photobucket.com and register as a user then you browse the picture on your computer then you say host or get picture or whatever then the picture will show up with a url link then you go into your lj and type

ask someone else for the code for pictures becuz when i type it, it shows up as an unknown picture for some reason
