What could go wrong, did. Then some. But we made it, survived and and now we are slowly unpacking. I'm usually unpacked, for the most part, by now but man, we are all so exhausted. I'll detail more later on the nightmare but wanted to check in and say hi.

Ok, so I have been blogging on my other blogs but I didn't think I had neglected this one so badly!

No news really except my daughter is back living here. It wasn't the best reason for her to be here but the important thing is she's here. It's been a huge transition for all of us but we are surviving and all doing well.

Being back at the press feels real good. I really did miss that place. I didn't realize how much I missed it until I went back. I am subbing my old single copy route every other weekend and I have a huge home delivery route every day. Well, my long time companion, my Sony Vaio is now officially the kids computer. I have been trying to get a new computer for some time now but never had the money to do so. I swear Chris' mom needs help sometimes. She's retiring in 18 months or so. Maybe less. Anyway, her and Chris' step dad have been looking at property all over the place to build a horse farm for show horses and rescues. They were looking in upstate New York but didn't find anything to suit their needs. They start inquiring about property down ( Read more... )

Well, she has certainly adjusted to being here in a busy house. She was out of her cage for most of the day yesterday. To keep her from getting bored, I would switch back and forth between having her on the play top on her cage to being on the play perch.
