Happy 2009?

New Years was interesting....our gas stove broke, a water pipe started leaking in the basement and something big & important inside our furnace cracked - all happened on the eve of NYE. That crack in the furnace allowed carbon monoxide to vent into the basement and fill it up with odorless, colorless toxic fumes while we were away for a few hours

omg, i'm glad you guys were safe. since I have a place with no roommates you guys would have been more than welcome to stay with me! but seriously, i'm glad you all are safe!

Thanks and remember to get your carbon monoxide detectors new batteries! Its the second time in my life that alarms have saved me from perilous danger! I cant stress it enough!
