Cartoons...um, they show those in the cinema, right?

Oh, yeah! Back in the good old days, you had to go to cinemas to see cartoons. Brought about a great sense of community. Nowadays, people are huddled in front of their television to watch cartoons all by themselves. That just ain't the same.

Back in the...?

Oh, you must...you must be further along than I am. ...Um, where I'm from, cartoons were only shown in the cinema.

Right, right! Now, picture a lot of drawings following each other up rapidly to form a movie. That's a cartoon.

I do not recognise the word 'cartoon'... Perhaps you will enlighten me?

Oh boy. [He sighs, frowning deeply. How to explain this...]

Okay, drawings. Everyone knows drawings. Imagine a couple of drawings of the same rabbit. Same pose and everything, so they're almost identical, but in each drawing, his ear's flicked at a slightly different angle. If you take the drawings and flick through them really quickly, it's like the rabbit's ear is actually moving.

Are you still followin' me?

[Ginko is in the forest, around Community Building 6-- close enough to the path to notice a sight this unusual. Being polite,

ehh. Not really. He just stares, with very frank curiosity.]

What've you got, there?

[Oh look, it's the guy who hasn't been enlightened by cartoons yet. Oswald sets the frame down, but he's still holding it steady with his paws.]

I found a canvas poster of me. Can you believe it? And here I thought every world would be full of Mickey Mouse junk.

[something of an amused grin-- he can't help his curiosity... you're so different and interesting] You found a picture of yourself?

I sure did! See? [He holds it up next to his face again to show the resemblance.]

This baby's goin' straight on my wall.

[ there is a rabbit carrying a picture of himself through town.

... intriguing. Xion must investigate.

so she will! by going over and tilting her head, curiously. ]

Hey, do you, um, need help with that?

Haaah? [He revolves on the spot, nearly thwacking Xion in the shins with the picture. It's so hard to watch where you're going when you've got half a frame obscuring your vision.]

Oh, uh. No, I've got it. Nothin' to worry about.

Whoa! [ she jumps back, reflexively, blinking. ] Uh ... you sure about that? I really wouldn't mind, if you need a hand...

No, no. I'm tough. I'm manly. I can handle it. [He can't let a girl carry stuff for him. Being the guy from the 1920s that he is, that just wouldn't sit right by him. Even though, you know, she's taller than he is.]
