[Happy Monday morning, everyone! The sun is shining, the birds are chirping and Oswald is making a racket. Through the journals and later outside your window!]

Hey, Luceti folk! Happy Oswald Day!

[Pause for dramatic effect.]That's right, Oswald Day! You may have seen it on the calendar at the Welcome Center and thought to yourself "

[Lindsay... She hadn't been quite sure what to make of the announcement earlier, and missed the parade, unfortunately. But while she's normally rather... ambivalent about cartoons, on the whole, the party over by the projector looked like a great deal more fun and less lonely than just wandering around confused.

So that's how she ends up, seated among the people watching cartoons, a bag of popcorn in her lap and Thylos curled up next to her.]

[Not long after, she'll be approached by Oswald, who likes wandering through the audience from time to time to make conversation and boast about his adventures.]

Hey! How ya doin'? Havin' fun?

This is the latest ever I don't even... orz Sorry...

[Lindsay looks over and blinks in surprise for a moment - talking rabbit what - then shakes her head a little and smiles.]

Yeah, thanks a lot!

[She turns back to the screen for a moment, pauses and double takes.]

Wait... that's you up there!

It's fine, it's fine.

[Oswald smirks, placing both hands on his hips and leaning his head back slightly.]

Why, yes! Yes it is! Impressive, ain't it?

It's the bestest Oswald-based celebration party day ever!

Caketimes? Uh... Well, sure, I can get some cake!

[Oswald Day. Man, this just makes Kazooie even more jealous. Why does she not get a whole day to herself? But at the same time, it is a parade, it has food and cartoons and it is actually pretty cool. So she's definitely there, flitting around the crowd, being her loud, obnoxious self and devouring popcorn.

... Too bad she doesn't have her bugle-kazoo with her to be annoying with the rest of the band...

Oswald will probably be most likely to run into her a little later on, during the cartoons, with a massive bag of popcorn that she just picks out. You better believe she's storing all these ideas for her eventual Hero Party idea which the mun still needs to ICly announce...]

[If it isn't Oswald's fellow fictional friend! He wastes no time in dropping himself on the ground next to Kazooie, ready for a professional opinion on his work. Cartoons aren't quite the same as video games, of course, but surely Kazooie can appreciate his career better than the non-fictional folk.]

Hey, Kazooie! Glad ya could make it!

This is a real shindig, Oswald! You got a whole day to yourself, huh? Man! I need a Kazooie Day...

[She takes another beakful of popcorn, without much in the way of manners. Or propriety of any kind.]

So these're your cartoons, huh? [One red wing gestures at the screen.] They pay you to do these or something?

[Action]

[Oswald doesn't have such great manners either. He reaches into Kazooie's tub of popcorn to grab a handful for himself. ... Well, it is his day.]

Nah, cartoon characters don't have a salary. What would we need the money for? We do it to entertain people- it's what we were made to do. [Literally.]

[He sits down next to Kazooie, stuffing the hand of popcorn into his mouth.] But anyway, Kazooie Day, huh? Sounds good!
