you are always welcome to visit tulsa and stay here. you could do like a find-american-roots by travelling route 66 or something. I can easily visualize you and A stepping out of the truck in tulsa going "what is this place?"

I don't know if I want to find dead Native Americans, but a trip along Rt.66 sounds great. I did'nt even think about that one. I'm still laughing at this message, by the way.

well, germans do it all the time. you could be a tourist's tourist. hypertourism. there are lots of kitschy motor inns to stay at too. i fantasize all the time about the desert in on route 66. it has HBO.
