I went for an interview there. Erk. They have an odd idea about what makes a company 'good'. Still, I'm glad to see you have a position that you like!

Did they mention it might go full-time? They were strict about how they start people.

Yeah, they have issues. My brother-in-law has been there for years, so I'm not really going in under the illusion that it will be some kind of dreamworld answer to all my prayers. But if nothing else, it's some actual paid, official experience doing something in my field. Which is excellent, regardless of whatever issues they might have.
