For those of you who live under rocks: Southern California is burning. And if not for the fact that I have friends who were evacuated today (in Malibu, Arrowhead, and San Diego), I love it. Is that bad? I love fire season. I loved waking up this morning and smelling smoke. Forest/brush fire is one of my favorite smells in the world

but controlled burning would actually be better for all those cute little animals, too, cuz they wouldn't have to move far when it happened, and it wouldn't destroy ALL of their habitat like the wildfires do.
apparently i'm the spokesperson for controlled burning. haha
