ben sweetie,
today, as we entered petsmart, i turned to darv and said, "it makes me really happy that ben and margie are engaged." it's little things like this entry that set you apart...you're a good man, and i mean it with all of my heart.

And I have no doubts that you will have an impact on someone's life (like he was on you that is). Hell, you've always believed in me--and so far, i've gone farther than I ever thought I would. Imagine if you put that power to someone who's "closer" or made from you, that person will exceed your wildest dream. Especially since you got Margie in the mix.

embarrassing kid pictures are cute. embarrassing adolescent pictures on the other hand.. well, they're just damn embarrassing. it is a kid picture, right?

it takes a man to raise a son like that, and it takes an even bigger man to recognize one for doing so.

ive got no doubt in my mind your kids are gonna look up to you the same way..

and if they dont, we'll send them to deans (not uncle dean) place.. or maybe uncle freds place.

not only was i totally moved by this entry, but i actually understood EVERYTHING you said in it!

i've known you for years and have always considered you a good friend, despite the distance and the once-in-a-blue-moon times we hang out, and i've always known you are a good man.
