Arthur/Merlin, ModernMagic!AU

Arthur and Merlin don't get along, despite having many mutual friends. However, they stumble across (due to some magical reason, up to author) a vision of the future in which they are living in disgustingly harmonial domestic bliss with each other. After witnessing the vision, they are both stunned and horrified, and don't know how to react to each other. All their following interactions at places of mutual friends are awkward and stilted, but they start discreetly watching each other and noticing each other's attractive qualities.

It's a little like a magical version of Much Ado About Nothing - where they didn't love each other until they were told the other loved them.

This is lovely! Sort of a hands-off version of Much Ado About Nothing. :) I'm deeply amused by the characterization you've created here - this is going to be so much fun! A delightful and wicked beginning.

And Jonathan Coulton title FTW - just saw him in concert for the first time this weekend, so I'm ROFLMAOing that he's come up in Merlin Fandom right afterwards. Brilliant!

HAHA, in general AU with magic is not my taste. But this one is made of WIN and I can't resist but grinning like an idiot for Arthur and Merlin. They are such dears and very cute with each other. I can totally imagine that.
