I've decided that I hate the French language... it's so... ugly (I know, that sounds weird, doesn't it). Give me Spanish or German any day of the week over French.

i'll admit i used to think german was ugly, but i met some german people who speak beautifully. however, i'm gonna have to agree to disagree. i love the way french sounds. i'm going to miss watching the simpsons and family guy in french soooooo much. le sigh

when my professor told me that french used to be a syllabic language (in its anglo-norman dayz) it fucking blew my mind.

I think it's interesting you prefer German to French. While I was in Paris I loved people speaking French.
